Rules
How Points Work
- You pick 6 teams for the active tournament.
- When a finished match is scored, each active pick that played in that match can create one score event.
- A win earns 3 points multiplied by that team's value factor.
- A draw earns 1 point multiplied by that team's value factor.
- A loss earns 0 points.
- A correct World Champion prediction earns 50 points after the final is finished and has a clear winner.
- Each correct Finalist prediction earns 25 points after the final is finished.
- A Surprise Team is eligible only with stored pre-tournament decimal odds of 50.0 or higher.
- A correct Surprise Team prediction earns 20 points once that team reaches at least the quarter-final.
- The leaderboard is the sum of all score events for a player in the active tournament.
Team Values
Team values are stored as a points factor on each tournament team. Higher factors can earn more points when that picked team gets a result.
Win: 3 x team value factor
Draw: 1 x team value factor
Loss: 0 points
Score Events
A score event is the stored record of awarded points. Your leaderboard total is the sum of your score events for the active tournament.
This page describes the current MVP scoring behavior. It does not trigger scoring or change any results.
Examples
If a picked team has value factor x1.50 and wins, the score event is worth 4.50 points.
If a picked team has value factor x2.00 and draws, the score event is worth 2.00 points.
If a picked team loses, the match can still be recorded in score history, but it contributes 0 points.
If your champion wins the final, that prediction earns 50 points. Each finalist you picked that reaches the final earns 25 points.
If your eligible Surprise Team reaches the quarter-final, that prediction earns 20 points. Eligibility uses the stored pre-tournament odds, not live market changes.
